Texans Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Colonials
The Dallas Texans eked out a 3-2 win versus the New England Colonials at Skellington Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Damien Sands, who captured player of the game honors. The Colonials fall to 8-9 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.

Had Wen Wei not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Wei hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Texans.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Wei told the Dallas Daily News.
