Bombers Beat Visiting Kodiaks, 5-2
|
Getting an impressive start from Ricardo Hernández, Bronx beat Calgary by the score of 5-2. Every game is important, even these early ones, if the Bombers hope to make a postseason run.
Miguel Luna's at-bat in the bottom of the second inning was a big one for Bronx. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Bronx leading 1-0, the second baseman reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run.
"I thought we played a nice game," Hernández told the Bronx Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
