Grays Roll Toreros, 12-5

With shortstop Jarek Domaszewski leading the charge, the Georgia Grays defeated the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 12-5, at The Death Star. Domaszewski, who is tied for 2nd in the TML in bases on balls with 14, went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. The win was credited to Chung Chio in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Rick Byrnes took the loss. The Toreros fall to 6-9 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2034 season.
Domaszewski contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Georgia in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 3-0, Domaszewski took a changeup from Rick Byrnes and stroked the home run to right. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Grays to leap in front, 4-3.
"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Domaszewski. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
