Tornadoes Roll Pioneers, 3-0
|
Kansas City starter Juan Lucero had a strong outing against the Vancouver Pioneers at "The Fort" at B.C. Place. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-0 win. Kansas City, now 6-9, is off to a slow start.
Franklin Gray, who is tied for 7th in the TML in triples with 1, aided the Kansas City cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 4 with a triple.
"It feels good to get this one," Gray told the Kansas City Times.
