The Fairfield Flash defeated the Espanola Bomberos, 3-1, in Nick Adenhart League action at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, with Fairfield right fielder Barry Huffman named player of the game. Mudasser Sabzvari closed the game out for Fairfield, earning his 1st save. Fairfield goes to 2-0 with the win.

The Flash got a big at-bat from left fielder Yeow-whye Jing. For the game, Jing was 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Fairfield a 2-1 lead.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Huffman said.
