Rodríguez 'Lights Out' in Chicago Win
|
Opening day festivities have begun throughout the league. Fans of the Chicago Titans were eager to watch Mauro Rodríguez square off against Alain Picard of the visiting Bowling Green Racers. In the end, the Titans won the game, 1-0, with Mauro Rodríguez earning player of the game honors.
Rodríguez, who dominated for Chicago, earned the victory to move to 1-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 7.1 innings, while striking out 10. Bowling Green batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Rodríguez said after the game.
