South Carolina pitcher Vincenzo Rizzoli did his part in helping his team beat the San Francisco Earthquakes, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Bombers bumped their record to 81-80 with this latest triumph.

Glenn Roethlisberger aided the South Carolina cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth. For the game, the center fielder went 2-4 with 2 singles.

"We found a way to get it done," Roethlisberger said.
