Islanders Lose, 2-0, at The Humidor
The Havana Stogies went home winners at The Humidor, thanks in large part to starter Ijaz Kharoti. Kharoti silenced the Hawaii Islanders, enabling Havana to grab the 2-0 win. Felipe Arreola notched his 37th save in 42 chances. The Stogies have an impressive 99-62 record.

Silvio Garcia drove in one run for Havana. The slick-fielding shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Allen Cox. It was his 51st RBI of the season.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Kharoti.
