Bombers Fall to .500 After Loss to Earthquakes
|
The San Francisco Earthquakes beat the South Carolina Bombers, 8-6, at Golden Gate Park. San Francisco third baseman Dustin McMahon earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Eddie Rosado got the save, his 23rd in 27 chances. At 65-95, San Francisco is in 5th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.
Jun Ogura helped out the San Francisco cause in the bottom of the first inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the catcher was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
