Marauders Slip Past San Francisco, 8-7
|
The Maple Marauders powered past the San Francisco Earthquakes, 8-7, at Legends Park. Angel Barajas was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, to lead the charge. Maple reliever Hariz Sahir picked up the win, upping his record to 6-3. Eddie Rosado shouldered the loss. The Marauders own a robust 106-53 mark.
Late-game drama came in the bottom of the ninth inning. With two out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Jorge Zamora, hit a single. It helped Maple seize the win.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Zamora said.
