Bombers Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Cabo San Lucas
|
South Carolina Bombers starter Ange Schmit pitched a strong game against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Bomber Ballpark, leading the Bombers to a 7-3 win. Schmit picked up the win for South Carolina, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 12-14. Ed Armstrong notched his 41st save in 44 chances.
Esteban Ruíz aided the South Carolina cause with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4.
"We did a lot of things right," said Ruíz.
