The Quebec Armada defeated the Eureka Hornets, 4-2, in Thurman Munson League action at The Nest, with Quebec pitcher Luis Mendez named player of the game. Mendez got the win, improving to 13-11. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Mendez allowed 2 earned runs. The Armada bumped their record to 82-76 with this latest triumph.

The Armada got a big at-bat from center fielder Iván Morales. For the game, Morales was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Quebec a 4-2 lead.
