Victory Pushes Mustangs Record to 84-73
The Mile High Mustangs beat the Georgia Grays, 5-2, at McNichols Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of catcher Harley Ware, who captured player of the game honors. He went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Mustangs bumped their record to 84-73 with this latest triumph.

Ware contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Mile High in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Ware took a fastball from Dave Munier and stroked the home run to left-center. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Mustangs to leap in front, 3-1.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Ware.
