Torres Slugs Pioneers to 9-6 Win
The Vancouver Pioneers bested the Kansas City Tornadoes by a score of 9-6, with designated hitter Ruben Torres getting the main credit. On the day, Torres was 3-3 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Pioneers. The save went to Munemori Abe, his 7th this season. The Tornadoes fall to 5-9 and continue their lackluster start in 2034.
