|
The Kansas City Tornadoes had to overcome a big game from Georgia designated hitter Tadataka Yoshino to leave The Death Star with a 3-1 victory. Yoshino was 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. Dennis Gates got the win, improving to 3-14. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 5 hits and 1 run, while striking out 4 and walking 1.
