It was a good time at Waterfront Park, where fans came to watch the Dallas Texans and Portland Beavers get after it.

Getting a good performance from left fielder Jeff Fosbrink, the Portland Beavers defeated the Dallas Texans, 13-3. Fosbrink was 3-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Beavers. Po-sin Pang earned his 3rd save in 4 chances.

The Beavers got a big at-bat from second baseman Phil Kinch. For the game, Kinch was 2 for 5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Portland a 1-0 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Fosbrink. "And not try to do too much."

Portland occupies 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division at 71-82.
