Zorros Dazzles in Mile High Win
|
The Mile High Mustangs got a magnificent performance from pitcher Alejandro Zorros, who muffled the Oklahoma City offense en route to a tight 1-0 Mustangs win at Memorial Circle Park. Amirtharaj Nagaraja was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 11 save opportunities. The Mustangs bumped their record to 81-71 with this latest triumph.
In his 106-pitch effort, Zorros allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 3.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Mile High manager Kinnojo Shirai.
