New England played host to Las Vegas at the friendly confines of Skellington Stadium.

The New England Colonials topped the Las Vegas Aces by the score of 7-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Jacob Runk. Runk was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Colonials on the day. New England is now 71-81, Las Vegas 58-94.

Runk had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Colonials went on to win.

"It was a solid team effort," said Runk after the game.
