Eureka and Mile High duked it out at McNichols Stadium and the Hornets came out victorious.

The Eureka Hornets bested the Mile High Mustangs, 9-6, at McNichols Stadium. Ka-fei Bi was named player of the game. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Eureka is now 73-78.

The Hornets got a big at-bat from left fielder Juan González. For the game, González was 2 for 3 with a double and was hit 2 times, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 122nd hit of the season gave Eureka a 5-3 lead.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said González.
