Toreros Lose to Grays, 4-3

Both teams had their chances, but the Georgia Grays eventually prevailed at Field de Los Layendas.
The Georgia Grays did just enough to sneak past the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-3, at Field de Los Layendas. Georgia pitcher Oliver Romero earned player of the game honors. The last-place Toreros have lost 4 consecutive games.
The Grays got a big at-bat from shortstop Jarek Domaszewski. For the game, Domaszewski was 1-5 with a double. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 14th double of the season gave Georgia a 2-1 lead.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Georgia manager Davey Morris. "It's usually not just one thing."
