Victory Over Mustangs Takes Maple to 98-48
The Maple Marauders topped the Mile High Mustangs, 6-1, in Thurman Munson League action at Legends Park. The player of the game was Maple pitcher Khurshid Durrani. Maple is now 98-48, 7½ games up in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.

The Marauders got a big at-bat from center fielder Pat Schmoll. For the game, Schmoll went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Maple a 4-1 lead.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Marauders manager Jesús Alfaro, "I like our chances."
