Grays Come Back Late to Clip Toreros
Cabo San Lucas got a terrific performance from pitcher Scott Boorman, but it wasn't enough to beat the Georgia Grays. Georgia won the Field de Los Layendas contest, 2-1. Boorman was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. Georgia reliever Tony Carcano got the win, raising his record to 7-9. Rafael Rodríguez was tagged with the loss. Matt Comrie earned his 40th save in 47 chances.

Jarek Domaszewski, who is on pace for 105 RBI this season, chipped in for Georgia with a solo home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Domaszewski.

The Grays bumped their record to 73-72 with this latest triumph.
