The Dallas Texans got a stellar effort from pitcher Juan Vázquez, helping Dallas score a 4-1 win over the visiting Oklahoma City Prowlers. The winning pitcher was Vázquez, now 3-1. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 7. The Texans bumped their record to 82-62 with this latest triumph.

The Texans got a big at-bat from center fielder Pablo Moreno. For the game, Moreno was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 8th double of the season gave Dallas a 3-0 lead.

Moreno told a Dallas Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
