Grays Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Dallas
|
Georgia right fielder Tadataka Yoshino was instrumental in his team's 6-3 win over the Dallas Texans. Yoshino, who is a two-time All-Star, went 4-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Grays. The Grays bumped their record to 71-70 with this latest triumph.
Had Jarek Domaszewski not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Domaszewski hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Grays.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Yoshino told the Georgia Daily News.
