Rubber City and Maple duked it out at Legends Park and the Rhinos came out victorious.

The Rubber City Rhinos picked up a win at Legends Park, knocking off the Maple Marauders, 4-1. Starting pitcher Bob Ruíz, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Ruíz went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 0. His record improves to 12-5.

The Rhinos got a big at-bat from first baseman Mike Ramos. For the game, Ramos was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 23rd home run of the season gave Rubber City a 3-1 lead.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Ruíz said.

Rubber City now has a 3-game win streak.
