Earthquakes Top Bombers Behind Huggins, 5-1
|
The San Francisco Earthquakes picked up a win at Golden Gate Park, knocking off the South Carolina Bombers, 5-1. Starting pitcher Lloyd Huggins was an essential part of his team's success. The Bombers fall to 6-8 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.
Huggins's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 5 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 4 hits. Huggins, who is rated as the 78th best prospect by BNN, goes to 2-1 on the year with 17 strikeouts.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Huggins said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
