Seattle Sasquatch starter Dino De Buono was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Santa Fe Fuego, 4-3. Seattle reliever Hiroshi Nagasawa picked up the win, bumping his record to 5-3. Mehmood Dar was collared with the loss. Hisataro Sato converted his 27th save in 33 tries.

Had Stewart Gee not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Gee hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Sasquatch.

"I just trusted my stuff," said De Buono.

The 4th-place Fuego have dropped 4 straight games.
