The Rubber City Rhinos beat the Dallas Texans, 7-6, at Metroplex Park. Rubber City third baseman Avatsara Sangameswar earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. Rubber City reliever Shinzo Sasaki picked up the win to move to 1-2. Dan Edwards suffered the loss. The Texans fall to 6-8 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.

This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the tenth, Noboru Kamada hit a sacrifice fly. The Rhinos took the lead, 7-6.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Sangameswar said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
