Mustangs Clip Toreros in Tight Contest
Mile High starter Alejandro Zorros pitched effectively against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Field de Los Layendas. The left-hander led his team to a 10-3 win. Mile High reliever Pedro García picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Sawao Yoshimura absorbed the loss. The Mustangs bumped their record to 73-62 with this latest triumph.

The Mustangs got a big at-bat from center fielder Denzel Kemsley. For the game, Kemsley went 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the top of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 13th double of the season gave Mile High a 5-3 lead.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Kemsley told the Mile High News.
