Victory Pushes Mustangs Record to 72-61
|
Mile High Mustangs starter James Jostle turned in an exceptional performance against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Field de Los Layendas, resulting in a Mile High win, 4-2. Quan Que was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 32 of 34 save opportunities. Mile High has now won 5 games in a row.
Denzel Kemsley, who is tied for 10th in the TML in stolen bases with 36, aided the Mile High cause with a 2-run single in the top of the ninth. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4. He drove in 2 runs.
Cabo San Lucas manager Matt Johnson said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
