Mustangs Get Road Win, 8-1
|
Mile High starter James Jostle pitched effectively against the Kansas City Tornadoes at Debris Field. The left-hander led his team to a 8-1 win. The Tornadoes fall to 5-8 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when second baseman Jesús García hit a double. The Mustangs went on to win.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," García told the Mile High News.
