Texans Win, Moreno goes 3-for-3
|
Benefiting from Pablo Moreno's productive game, the Dallas Texans downed the South Carolina Bombers, 9-6. Moreno went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Texans. Josuke Fujihara picked up the win with 7.1 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 8. On the season, he is now 15-5. The Texans bumped their record to 78-53 with this latest triumph.
Moreno had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Texans went on to win.
