Seattle right-hander Dennis Montgomery made an effective start against the Quebec Armada at Sick's Stadium, leading his team to a 3-2 win. Hisataro Sato picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 8-7. Jay Casbeer was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Sasquatch have a record of 50-80.

Late-game drama came in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Eddy Jacobse, hit a single. It helped Seattle seize the win.

"Both teams played hard," said Seattle manager Chris Sexton.
