The San Francisco Earthquakes and South Carolina Bombers played an exciting game at Bomber Ballpark.

The South Carolina Bombers went down to defeat to Carlos Estrada and his San Francisco teammates. The final score was 4-2 in favor of the Earthquakes. In 5.2 innings, Estrada surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Eddie Rosado notched his 14th save in 17 chances.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the sixth, with San Francisco trailing 2-1, Harry May was at the plate when San Francisco scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Earthquakes to go in front, 3-2.

After the game, San Francisco manager Joe Ward applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

San Francisco now sits at 48-78, while South Carolina falls to 62-62.
