The Georgia Grays picked up a win at The Nest, knocking off the Eureka Hornets, 6-3. Starting pitcher Bill Piner, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. In 6.2 innings, Piner surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Georgia is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The Grays got a big at-bat from shortstop Jarek Domaszewski. For the game, Domaszewski was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 121st hit of the season gave Georgia a 2-1 lead.
