Bombers Win at Cabo San Lucas, 2-1
The Cabo San Lucas Toreros got a superb performance from pitcher Will Caron. Still, it wasn't enough to beat South Carolina. The Bombers won the game, 2-1. In spite of the loss, Caron was named the player of the game. He threw 8 innings of 6-hit ball. Ed Armstrong notched his 32nd save in 35 chances. The Bombers bumped their record to 60-60 with this latest triumph.

The Bombers got a big at-bat from second baseman Victor Rocher. For the game, Rocher went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 24th hit of the season gave South Carolina a 2-1 lead.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Rocher said.
