Santa Fe designated hitter Denzel Tatchell was sensational. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Las Vegas beat the Fuego, 4-3. Tatchell was named the player of the game despite the loss. Reliever Junji Kobayashi picked up the win. His record improves to 4-6. Nobuhito Suzuki took the loss. Las Vegas has a 3-game win streak, while Santa Fe has lost 3 in a row.

Greg Holder, who is tied for 10th in the RCL in doubles with 25, aided the Las Vegas cause with a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
