Tornadoes Continue Skid Thanks to Tanaka, Armada
The Quebec Armada topped the Kansas City Tornadoes, 15-5, with right fielder Kichisaburo Tanaka playing a big role. Tanaka was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Armada in the win. Kansas City has now lost 6 straight.

Tanaka had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Armada went on to win.

"We played hard and won," said Tanaka. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
