So Cal beat Seattle on the strength of starter Elias Bowen's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 7-3 win. Bowen went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 5. His record improves to 9-5. The Republic bumped their record to 80-39 with this latest triumph.

The Republic got a big at-bat from left fielder Noam Foucher. For the game, Foucher went 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 19th home run of the season gave So Cal a 2-0 lead.

"Enjoyed this one," Bowen told the So Cal Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
