The Havana Stogies topped the Las Vegas Aces, 7-2, in Roberto Clemente League action at Sin City Stadium. The player of the game was Havana pitcher Peter Miner. Miner picked up the win for Havana, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 10-9. Havana is now 79-39, 5½ games up in the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division.
Yeow-whye Jing, who is rated as the 2nd best prospect by BNN, aided the Havana cause with a solo home run in the top of the third. For the game, the right fielder went 1-5 with a home run.
