Victory Pushes Islanders Record to 74-45
|
Brooklyn pitcher Xiong Yang gave the Islanders all they could handle, but in the end, Hawaii left Blue Ivy Stadium with a 7-6 win. Yang allowed 2 earned runs on 3 hits over 5.1 innings. Rodrigo Garza earned the win for Hawaii. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 6 earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 7. With the win, he raised his record to 10-6. Pat McConnell earned his 4th save in 5 chances.
