Mustangs Get Road Win, 6-3
|
Mile High and Oklahoma City duked it out at Memorial Circle Park and the Mustangs came out victorious.
Mile High Mustangs starter Drstasara Sahni was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Oklahoma City Prowlers, 6-3. Sahni, now 3-3, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run.
The Mustangs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Miguel Olberos. For the game, Olberos went 2 for 5 with 2 singles. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 16th hit of the season gave Mile High a 1-0 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Sahni.
The Mustangs bumped their record to 62-55 with this latest triumph.
