Mustangs Lose to Prowlers, 7-4
|
The Mile High Mustangs got a sterling performance from shortstop Gerard Wych, but the Prowlers still prevailed, 7-4. Wych was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He was 3-4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The winner was John Denny, who threw 116 pitches over 7.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 8 hits.
