The inspired effort of Bloomington right fielder Roger Barrett was not enough to prevent a 5-3 loss to the San Francisco Earthquakes. Barrett was 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. Eddie Rosado converted his 7th save in 10 tries. Even with the win, the Earthquakes have a dismal 39-76 record.

Elijah Brown helped out the San Francisco cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the first baseman went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Brown said.
