Earthquakes Lose, 13-5, at Arson Arena
|
The Bloomington Blazers dealt the San Francisco Earthquakes a 13-5 loss at Arson Arena. Henry Morris was the star on offense. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Pedro Vazquez picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 9-4. Freddy Aguilar converted his 2nd save in 3 tries.
With Bloomington leading 4-3 in the bottom of the second, Morris hit a slider from John Ketchum for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Blazers ahead, 7-3.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Morris said after the game.
The Blazers bumped their record to 67-45 with this latest triumph.
