Tornadoes Lose to Grays, 5-3
|
Georgia Grays starter Oliver Romero pitched a strong game against the Kansas City Tornadoes at Debris Field, leading the Grays to a 5-3 win. Matt Comrie was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 28 of 33 save opportunities. The Tornadoes, now 46-64, have lost 6 in a row.
Jarek Domaszewski, the five overall pick in the 2021 draft, helped out the Georgia cause in the top of the second inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the shortstop went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Domaszewski.
