2034 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Las Vegas Aces.
Rubber City beat Las Vegas on the strength of starter Vincent Vickers's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 7-2 win. Anupradana Agarkar converted his 15th save in 21 tries.
Avatsara Sangameswar, who is tied for 10th in the RCL in bases on balls with 47, aided the Rubber City cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Sangameswar told the Rubber City Herald.
The last-place Aces have lost 4 straight games.
