The Santa Fe Fuego racked up a win at The Fire House, bumping off the Dallas Texans, 2-0. Clint Taurus, who started for Santa Fe, pitched effectively for his team. Jun'ichi Suzuki, credited with the save, is now 24 for 30 in save opportunities. The Fuego improved to 52-60.
Taurus, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 11-8. In 8 innings of work, Taurus gave up no earned runs on 1 hit, while racking up 9 Ks. He kept the Texans punchless, offensively.
