The Portland Beavers defeated the Brooklyn Black Knights, 5-1, in Roberto Clemente League action at Blue Ivy Stadium, with Portland pitcher Felipe De La Hoya named player of the game. De La Hoya, now 6-8, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. The save was Alexis Coates's, his 1st.
