Jack Morris helped his team muscle past the Georgia Grays, 7-4. In the game, the Bloomington third baseman was 3 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Bloomington reliever Dong-soo Bruce picked up the win to move to 7-5. Jo-hsi Sang suffered the loss. Paco Berroa earned his 32nd save in 35 chances.

With two out in the top of the fifth, Ruben Estrada stroked a go-ahead 2-run single. It was his 16th hit of the season and put Bloomington in front, 5-3.
